On June 13 a call for proposals on Combining national and regional programmes for international Collective Research for the benefit of SMEs was launched with Québecois participation. It is the 22nd call organised by CORNET(COllective Research NETworking). The partners in CORNET are national or regional ministries and funding organisations from various countries, facilitating international cooperation on the basis of their respective national and regional funding schemes.

ERA-Can+ promotes cooperation between the European Union and Canada in science, technology and innovation with numerous activities, including the research funding opportunity, Horizon 2020.
ERA-Can+ also aims to enrich the EU-Canada policy dialogue, enhance coordination between European and Canadian sector leaders, and stimulate transatlantic collaboration by increasing awareness of the funding opportunities available.
